In this article we will talk about the topics addressed in the IV Symposium on SST.
The symposium will be held in Italy, in Rome, in November, on the 10th, 11th and 12th.There is now little time left until the event that will bring new attention to the results and practices of Single Session Therapy around the world.
What are the title and objectives of the event?
The event entitled “Single Session Therapies: What, How and Why single session practices and mindsets are effective, efficient and excellent” will have the main objective of disseminating the results that SST has achieved at an international level.
For this purpose, data from research conducted in the various areas of psychotherapy in which the method is introduced will be disclosed. Another objective will be to raise awareness and learn the different ways of applying SST successfully in therapeutic practice settings, through the presentation of cases.
How will the Symposium days be structured?
On the three days of 10th, 11th and 12th of November the following three topics will be addressed respectively:
“What” supports Single Session Therapy, i.e. the epistemological bases that support the method and the different mindsets of SST.
“Why, Where and For Whom” research has been conducted on SST and how it impacts professional practice.
“How” SST is applied in the different intervention contexts, the ways and techniques illustrated by the different experts of the method.
